After having their debut concert at the Kimmel Center, the Dover Quartet went on to record and release the titular album, The Curtis Session, named after the Curtis Institute, where the group was formed in 2008 and where they recorded this album in 2013. The album features Eric Sessler’s four part Dreams from Life Awake and evokes the group’s ability and strength in created relaxed and focused music.
